Owner’s Representative services: your interests, our expertise, every phase.
Capital projects in life sciences environments are complicated by design, schedule, and regulatory requirements that most project teams are not built to manage alone. Facility expansions, automation upgrades, equipment installations, laboratory relocations, site consolidations: each one involves multiple vendors, competing timelines, and decisions that carry long-term compliance implications. A mistake at the design stage costs hours to fix. Discovered during qualification, it costs months.
What we do
Krieger serves as Owner’s Representative for life sciences organizations managing capital projects of any size. We represent your interests across every party in the project: architects, contractors, equipment vendors, qualification firms, and your own internal teams. Our scope includes cross-functional project planning, budget and schedule management, vendor coordination and oversight, design review for regulatory and operational compliance, commissioning and startup support, and ongoing performance monitoring through project close. We do not replace your internal team. We strengthen it.
Why it matters
Most compliance problems on capital projects are not discovered during the project. They surface during qualification, during an inspection, or after the system has been running long enough for gaps to emerge. An Owner’s Representative with deep regulatory experience identifies those problems at the design stage, where they are still inexpensive to resolve. Without that oversight, you are depending on contractors and vendors to flag issues that are not their problem to solve.
How we engage
Krieger can be engaged at any project phase. Earlier involvement produces better outcomes, and we are most valuable when brought in before major design decisions are made. We are also experienced stepping into projects mid-stream to establish oversight without disrupting momentum. Scope is sized to your project and the level of oversight your organization requires.
