Automation Services

Automation services built for performance and compliance.

Automation is one of the most powerful tools available in life sciences operations. It reduces human error, improves process consistency, and supports the data integrity requirements that regulated environments demand. It also introduces compliance obligations that need to be addressed at every phase: design, implementation, validation, and ongoing maintenance. Krieger delivers automation services that account for all of it.

What we do

Krieger provides end-to-end automation services across upstream, downstream, process, and laboratory systems including bioreactors, fermenters, and process skids; CIP and SIP systems; chromatography and purification skids; environmental and controlled chambers; monitoring and data acquisition systems; PLCs, DCS, and SCADA control systems; Delta V systems; and facility and utility automation. Our scope covers automation system design and integration, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and instrument control programming and configuration, system commissioning and startup support including functional testing and control verification, preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend system life, calibration and instrument integration to maintain traceability across automated operations, computer system validation and software validation to meet GMP, FDA, and ISO standards, process optimization and performance tuning to improve throughput and reduce variability, data management and reporting solutions for regulatory compliance and operational decision-making, and on-site and remote training and technical support for operators and engineers.

Why it matters

An automated system that was implemented without proper validation documentation, or that was modified without change control, creates data integrity risk that is difficult to quantify and harder to defend under inspection. Regulators pay close attention to automated systems precisely because they touch so much of what a life sciences operation produces and records. The technical capability to implement automation is not enough. You need someone who also understands the regulatory context it operates in and builds compliance into the system from the start.

How we engage

Krieger engages on automation projects at any phase: initial design, system implementation, commissioning, validation, or ongoing maintenance and support. We work as an extension of your engineering, operations, and quality teams and bring both the technical depth and the regulatory understanding needed to deliver automation that performs and complies. Scope is defined by your systems, your environment, and what you need.
